Parapan Am gold-medal calibre
Adil has provided strength and conditioning to the Team Canada parasport athlete that won Canada our first gold medal in para swimming.
Adaptive Athletics
Adil Khoshkar’s expertise begins with a degree in Kinesiology, the science of how the human body moves, adapts and recovers. He never stopped learning, stacking certifications including as a Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Exercise Therapist.
But credentials only explain half of it. What sets Adil apart is what he chose to do with it: work with the people most trainers quietly turn away. While much of the fitness industry chases healthy, easy clients, he went toward complexity, stroke, spinal cord injury, spinal stenosis, the aftermath of serious accidents, and learned, body by body, how to train safely and effectively where the textbooks run out.
That work spans living rooms and the elite level of parasport alike. He has provided strength and conditioning support at the Parapan Am gold-medal level, and he has given the same care to a senior finding the strength to climb their own stairs without fear. To Adil, those are the same job: meeting a person where they are and building, patiently, toward what they want.
If you’re researching care for someone you love, here’s what matters most. Adil shows up himself, every session. He tells you the truth about what’s realistic. And he treats your family member as a full human being with a life to live, not a condition to be managed.
A partial list of formal qualifications. Adil maintains active continuing education in exercise science, nutrition, and rehabilitation.
A few of the transformations Adil has helped his clients achieve. Every one began with the words "I'm not sure I can do this."

Adaptive AthleticsOne client came to Adil carrying significant excess weight while living with spinal stenosis, a combination most trainers won’t touch. By training carefully around the condition and coaching nutrition alongside it, the client lost more than 150 pounds and moved with far less pain.
Chronic ConditionWhen accident-benefit rehab ended, the recovery wasn’t finished. Adil has helped MVA survivors rebuild strength, reduce chronic pain and return to the activities that make life feel normal again.
